This is a very advanced Mountain Bike ride starting in Blackstar Canyon, to Sierra Peak, down through beautiful Fremont Canyon (with 2 very big climbs) and then down to Blackstar road. Mostly fire-roads with a lot of climbing.

Join us for a challenging docent led mountain bike ride for very experienced riders in excellent cardio shape. Travel through historic Blackstar Canyon past Beek’s Place, and over to Sierra Peak, then traverse over ridges of Upper Fremont Canyon passing some of Orange County’s spectacular geological formations. We affectionately call this one the Freaks Loop (Fremont/Beeks). The ride length is 25 miles on fire roads including multiple long, steep climbs. 16 of the 25 miles are climbs. You should be able to make it to Beek’s Place in less than 1.5 hours without being overly fatigued and continue on with little rest from there. All riders must carry adequate water and food supplies for this length of ride.
