Stormy clouds and rumbling thunder means one thing: Rain! Our native plants and wild animals need water like us to survive, and winter storms can give lots of it. Come explore the nature trails in Bommer Canyon to see how much a little amount of rain can transform our hills from dried brown plants to growing green leaves! We will also make a happy stormy cloud to hang at home before our hike.

This program is perfect for wee little ones, ages 2 – 6 years of age. We will spend the first half of the program enjoying our program’s topic, possibly making a craft or listening to a story, and then we will explore the trails in an easy paced walk, suitable for off-road strollers and carrying packs. Parent or guardian must register and attend along with their child.
